as i walk down the alley
well no one cares to know
that crowded bars & expensive cars
can make you feel alone
just as people listenin' to some
bitchin;
wanna get up and go
i remain inside my brain
i can not let them know

oh it seems to me i'm
invisible
i am not and i do not hear
the call
it's like a bad trip
well maybe this is the fall
you can't see me 'cause
i'm not on your wall

a girl is frightened by my looking
but i'm too blind to see
i look inside and i realize
my veins too cold to bleed
someone's crying someone's trying
they want to see the pain well
when all the shelling and all the
shocking
is totally in vain

oh it seems to me I'm
invisible
i am not and i do not heed
the call
it's like a bad trip
well maybe this is the fall
you can't see me 'cause
I'm not on your wall

M.I.A. I'm in the mirror
i see societies gaze
i guess our souls just aren't worth
stealing/ (saving)
there are too many faces
our make-up must take up
the feelings we must hide
i guess that in society's game
we're on the losing/ (winning) side

oh it seems to me I'm
invisible
i am not and i do not hear
the call
it's like a bad trip
well maybe this is the fall
you can't see me 'cause
I'm not on your wall
